“Countdown to iPhone 3G!”

The iPhone 3G is the second version of Apple's highly acclaimed mobile device. Revealed at the WWDC 08 conference, it will be made available in 22 countries on the 11th of July.

This little widget is basically a countdown for the official release of the iPhone 3G, which displays the exact days, hours, minutes and seconds left. I also quite like how it shows the iPhone 3G itself and many of you who just can't wait for the release will surely find at least a little bit of comfort just from having this little widget on their Dashboard.

In some ways it is quite similar to the iPhone Widget, a countdown to the release of the original iPhone. However this last wdiget also offered up a feed of Apple news along with the countdown.

Those of you that can't wait for the release of the iPhone 3G will want to get a hold of this widget.
